Quaker State 400 – NASCAR News & Odds

NASCAR Betting Odds | Motor Sports Lines with InstaBet: Mexican Sportsbook

The NASCAR Cup Series is starting to take shape and it’s Kevin Harvick who seems to be running away from it all by himself to position himself as the number one driver in NASCAR this 2020. Now, the circuit will pass by the Kentucky track where the mission is to stop Harvick from having a good race, and, his pursuers, look for ways to shorten the qualifying distance. Let’s see how the drivers get to this Quaker State 400 so you can make your bets against their NASCAR odds.

Favorites to win the Quaker State 400 | Sunday, July 12

Kevin Harvick

  • NASCAR forecasts: +350

Harvick leads the NASCAR Cup series standings with 637 points, four wins and nine places in the top five when the races are over. He’s been impeccable this season. However, Kentucky is not his best ally, as he has finished in the top five only once and even finished tenth or worse three times.

Denny Hamlin

  • Quaker State 400 Predictions: +500

Hamlin is fifth in the table, but has already won four times this season, with nine finishes also in the top five. Hamlin has 528 points but failed to finish the last race in Indianapolis. Hamlin, however, has three top-five finishes at Kentucky Speedway.

Hamlin has had a good season, but must capitalize on their good finishes to not fall further behind in driver ratings.

Chase Elliott

  • NASCAR forecasts: +500

Chase Elliott finished eleventh in Indianapolis, which allowed Harvick to take off at the top. Elliott is second, but he is 552 points behind Harvick in the standings.

With only one win, but a consistent presence in the top five (7 finishes), Elliott must start winning races to put the pressure back on Hamlin. Otherwise, he can kiss his Cup Series ambitions goodbye.

Kyle Busch

  • Quaker State 400 Predictions: +650

Despite his poor season, where he is eleventh overall and only has three top-five finishes, Kyle Busch is a danger on any track. He finished sixth in Indianapolis.

With two wins (2011 and 2015) and two second places (2014 and 2019) in Kentucky, taking Busch off the pace could be serious. It’s a good payoff, but his current level leaves room for doubt about the usually reliable Kyle Busch.

Joey Logano

  • NASCAR forecasts: +800

Logano was victorious in two of the first four races, but since then he has only been able to reach the top five once, he has lost strength. His best performance in Kentucky is the now distant 2015 edition, where he finished second. In fact, it’s his only finish in the top five in Kentucky.

Logano currently sits sixth on the scoreboard, just one point behind Denny Hamlin, and seven points behind Ryan Blaney, so a win in Kentucky would catapult him to the top of the table.

NASCAR Quaker State 400 Predictions

The NASCAR season is maturing and, in view of this, we see usual candidates starting as favorites within each race, as is the case of Hamlin or, of course, Kevin Harvick, who are the two drivers with more wins so far in the Cup Series.

Having said that, we also see Kyle Busch, who has some favoritism for his background in Kentucky Speedway, rather than for his performance within this season, but betting on Busch can be dangerous due to his bad pace.

Therefore, the recommended bet is Chase Elliott. Elliott has been the definition of consistency and he has yet to make that final jump, where he can not only secure his second place in the standings, but also be able to remind Harvick that he has dangerous pursuers. In addition, Elliott pays $500 for every $100, which is a more than attractive return for this race.
